One of the first birds one would see in Marrakech is the House Bunting, it's even more abundant then the House Sparrow. You see them hopping on the street or eating the crumbs from the dinner tables. If you can across a nut shop it's worth to look inside as you probably see a dozen of House Buntings hanging around in the shop.
And it's probably also the last bird you'll see as they also hang around at the airport terminal, singing from the beams above the non-suspecting travelers.
Een van de eerste vogels die je in Marrakech zult zien is de Huisgors, ze zijn zelf algemener dan de Huismus. Tussen alle drukte hoppen ze rustig in de drukke straten en eten ze de kruimels van de eettafels. Als je langs een notenwinkel komt is het de moeite om even naar binnen te kijken, wees dan niet verbaast als er gewoon een dozijn Huisgorzen ziet rondhangen.
Het zal waarschijnlijk ook de laatste vogel zijn die je tijdens je reis ziet aangezien de Huisgorzen zich ook hebben gehuisvest in de terminal waar ze boven in de wachtruimte zitten te zingen boven de nietsvermoedende reizigers.
